Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Six pieces of information are sufficient for the quote engine: gender, date of birth, your general health status, tobacco use, desired coverage amount, and term length. Name, address, and detailed health information are only requested if you proceed to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the premiums each carrier has quoted for the health class you selected. After you apply, the carrier conducts its own underwriting to determine the final premium, which may improve, stay the same, or change your class. This site offers estimates only and no promises about final pricing or coverage acceptance.
What happens when I click Apply?
Provide your name and select the quote you want. The application is created from that exact quote and continues on the carriers' application platform where you can pause and resume. Electronic signature completes your submission. Susman Insurance Agency, License 0B75129, handles the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
The carrier, coverage amount, and your health history determine this. Many carriers can now underwrite qualified applicants without an exam using application data, prescription records, and driving history; decisions often come back the same day. Each quote on this site specifies whether an exam is required, possibly required, or not required.
Is a longer term better?
Select a term matching the period you need coverage. Families with mortgages and young children typically choose 20 or 30 years to cover both obligations. Longer terms cost more monthly but lock that rate for decades. The quote tool displays all available terms—10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years—side by side.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool collects no contact information, we do not share or sell visitor data, and we measure usage without cookies. View the privacy page for the complete accounting of what we collect and who has access.
